Blair technique is one of the upper cervical techniques, and deals primarily with correction of the upper vertebrae in the cervical or neck region of the spine. It utilizes a cervical drop piece and may incorporate a significant amount of torque with an adjustment. Sometimes a patient is asked to rest for several minutes following this adjustment. It is also one of the safest techniques for adjusting the C-spine. Blair technique uses special radiological (x-ray) views which enable the doctor to visibly observe the misalignment.
