Gonstead Technique was invented by a Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin chiropractor by the name of Dr. Clarence Gonstead. He developed a system of full-spine adjusting that recommended the use of full spine x-rays to detect vertebral subluxations. He also described specific adjusting moves for all three regions of the spine and designed special adjusting equipment for each of those regions, referred to as the Gonstead pelvic table, a thoracic Knee-Chest table and a Cervical Chair. Lifeback Chiropractic is able to perform most Gonstead adjustments with equipment in the office.
